More About Our Prayer Ministry

Our motto is "Here we are!" (taken from Isaiah 6).

Our goal is to: equip, train and model others:

* How to allow our Father to search and reveal our hearts;
* How to have a deep intimate life with Jesus;
* How to develop the ability to discern and hear the voice of God;
* How to know the power and privilege of prayer;
* How to develop an intimate relationship with Holy Spirit;
* How to release the people of God’s promises into their destiny;
* How to develop and grow in a Supernaturally Natural lifestyle.

Our purpose is to support and under gird the mission of West Ridge and all its ministries with the power and anointing of Holy Spirit through prayer. As we actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church. By being open and responsive to the working of Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory.

Some of the different prayer needs that are being met through West Ridge's Prayer Ministry are seen in our Prayer Pockets:

Prayer Room:
We are excited to announce that West Ridge has reserved a room in our facility and have set it apart for 24/7 prayer and worship. Through the use of internet technology and by developing a partnership with the International House of Prayer (IHOP.org), we are piping in 24/7 Prayer and Worship into our Prayer Room. All are encouraged to access this space that has been set apart for intercession, communion with Holy Spirit, soaking, and quiet time.

Open Prayer Time:
Every Sunday morning beginning at 8:30 A.M. The Ridge’s Sanctuary is opened for prayer. Anyone may join in by for prayer that focuses on the week’s services and ministry. Also, we join together every Wednesday afternoon for Intercessory Prayer.

West Ridge Prays:
We meet for prayer and encouragement on Saturday mornings from 7:00 A. M. until 8:00 A. M and Sunday evening from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Every one is welcome to come and share in prayer, express prayer needs or to receive prayer.

Men's prayer Time:
are small groups meet at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday and Friday at the church for sharing and prayer. These groups are small and pointed to the needs of the individual and the churches families. Each individual is allowed to share needs as they want and are supported by a group of men that will pray daily for each other. Come and get connected with the Lord, the church, and a group of men.
