Frequently Asked Questions What are your worship services like? How long are your services? How do we find you? Is there childcare? What are your worship services like? The emphasis is on experiencing God's presence as a church family. We hope you'll join us and experience for yourself just how much God cares about you. We unofficially open with a time of intercessory prayer in the Sanctuary at 8:30. This coincides with a casual assortment of goodies that are available in the Foyer for those who feel like getting together. The music in our service is modern and focuses on our personal contact with God. We allow plenty of time for people to open their hearts and experience Him in return. After the music, Pastor Bill Bolin, or sometimes a special visiting speaker, teaches on spiritual issues that relate to our day-to-day lives. Of course, it is not enough just to hear about it, so we also allow time at the end of the service for people to individually receive prayer and encouragement, whether it's for family circumstances, work or school situations, or personal needs. And we've seen God answer prayer in wonderful ways. During the service we provide programs and services specifically for your kids! There is a nursery, a toddler room, and classes for kids in pre-K all the way through sixth grade. We want people to be comfortable and open with God and with each other. The dress is casual and coffee and snacks are served from 8:30 until 12:30. How long are your services? Our Sunday services generally run about an hour and a half. How do we find you? Take the Exit 2 - Montour Run Road and make the first right (bear to the right) off the exit. This will take you under an overpass. Make a left at the first stoplight. (Cliff Mine Road). Continue straight through the next 2 stop lights. West Ridge Community Church is about 2 miles on the right. If you come to a 5 way intersection, you've gone a little too far (about 1/4 mile). Directions from the Airport: Take Rt. 60 south toward Pittsburgh. Take the McClaren Rd. exit. Make a right at the light off the exit. Follow McClaren Rd. until you come to a stop sign. Make a sharp left at stop sign, onto Cliff Mine Rd. West Ridge Community Church is about 1/4 of a mile on the left. Directions from Weirton, WV: Take 22 East from Weirton to Pittsburgh. Take the Hankey Farms Exit and make the first right off the exit. At a 4-way stop sign, continue straight onto Mahoney Road. At a 3-way stop sign, make a left onto Cliff Mine Road. West Ridge Community Church is 1 mile past this stop sign on the right side of the road. Is there childcare? Childcare is provided at all services and most events.
